Iconic is a rounded condensed sans serif typeface designed by Andrea Tartarelli together with Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Francesco Canovaro at Zetafonts. It’s a multi-purpose workhorse family designed for clear and effective editorial, interface and information design with minimum usage of space. The soft, rounded shapes are all derived from basic circular geometry, but slight humanist touches have been added to make the family look more informal and readable. With his slim, minimal aesthetic, Iconic embodies the spirit of contemporary tech, and the desire for an effortless, natural digital experience. The extensive range of weights allows both for text and display usage. In body copy Iconic excels in clarity from light to bold with a choice of medium and regular for text appearance fine tuning; in display use it allows endless design expressions with a range that goes from the hairline thin weight to the super-fat heavy, all with matching italics. To complement the basic, regular shapes of the Iconic family, a Stencil subfamily has been designed with a more aggressive technical look. Perfect for wayfinding, branding and interaction design, the six Stencil weights can also be used next to the base family for a rich textural approach to type setting. Both Iconic and Iconic Stencil feature an extended character set of over 1200 glyphs that covers over 220 languages using the Latin alphabet, as well as Greek and Russian Cyrillic. Open type features include small caps, positional figures, alternate letter forms, stylistic sets, arrows and extra punctuation and discretionary ligatures. A six-weight icon set, Iconic Pictograms, has been also developed in matching weights to the base family to allow maximum control over the design of digital interfaces using Iconic.

Radar is a revival of the sans serif typeface “Grotesca Radio”, from the Spanish foundry Richard Gans, which existed from 1888 to 1975. His authorship is attributed to the German type designer and master punchcutter Carl Winkow. Although the new version of this font has always tried to keep accurate similarities with the original typeface, Radar is not intended as a strict revival, but as a contemporary interpretation. In this new version the user can find some alternate characters that give the typeface a more art-déco or neutral flair.

Yaty is a relaxed and spontaneous script font.

With its long descenders, bold capital letters and genuine style, this typeface fits perfectly for a down-to-earth logo or headline, emitting familiarity and friendliness.

The font contains ligatures and support for an extensive range of world-wide languages.

Alvar, a modular Humanist-flavored Sans Serif typeface, is ideal for corporate use, and brand and corporate identity design. The font performs well for mid-length text. Alvar is a neutral and clean font but it has friendly and modern design characteristics.

Alvar comes in 8 weights with matching italics and the whole family is composed of 3 subfamilies: Pro, Essential and Alt Essential, resulting in a total of 48 different styles. The Pro version includes a Latin Extended character set and OpenType features—stylistic alternates, small caps, case-sensitive forms, proportional and tabular figures, currency symbols, etc. The Essential and Alt Essential versions are well-suited for both web and corporate use.

Muirne, a cheerful semi-serif inspired by a Celtic calligraphy and figure. Font family contains from Light to Black weights and suitable Italic. With a dozen of alternates to enhance your typesetting with a Celtic touch.

Abakadabra is a headline font inspired by sans-serifs of the first half of the twentieth century, as well as by the tricks of fakirs, illusionists and charmers. The gently playful manner of the font can be exaggerated to a more pretentious and grimacing one, or can alternatively be calmed to a neutral appearance. Abrakadabra supports most European languages and has thematic emoji symbols. The text can be customized by using stylistic sets or the Swashes and the Stylistic Alternates buttons in the OpenType panel.

Calamity Wayne is a reverse-contrast slab serif, inspired by the ‘wild west’ French Clarendons (aka Italians or Egyptians) of the late-1800s.

Despite the idiosyncrasies that make it ideal for display and headline uses, it is also surprisingly legible in text settings.

Calamity Wayne supports Latin, Cyrillic and Greek, and is available in OTF and TTF formats.

Steradian is an exploration of the geometric genre and although it has a geometric base, the widths between letters are not much different across the weights. That is due to the process, in which the proportions of the heavier weights paved the way for the lighter ones. It also has a series of details that make Steradian stand out and gives it a special touch. Some of its main features are the double-story ‘a’, its closed apertures and some of the capitals have a distinct personality (such as the G and Q). Read more about the design process at the Emtype’s Blog. 

Malte is a geometric sans-serif typeface, inspired from the modern age. Designed to use as type play, headline, quote and for composition. Malte come with nine weights that mappings to CSS font weights. Malte supported many languages as included extend latin glyphs.

Roman Ionic is a unique revival of a typeface that was once popular and used in many late 19th century and early 20th century music publishing houses, such as Durand et fils. It displays a happy marriage between the beautiful features of the Clarendon type and the legibility of the Scotch roman class and is thus aimed to work for titling and body text.

Salom was designed by Austrian type designer Igor Labudovic during his year at Reading University. Besides Latin, it originally included Arabic and Hebrew. The peaceful coexistence of both writing systems in his fonts led him to combine the words Salaam and Shalom to the font family name.

Salom’s sibling, Salom Sans, features the same letter proportions and therefore allows a rich spectrum of diverse typography, yet keeping the harmony between all styles. The sans has an additional light weight, while the serif comes with an expressive stencil style.

Fact is a workhorse open sans serif type system. It is inspired by the great Frutiger typeface. While the Regular style is slightly modernized but still quite close to Frutiger, changing the weight or width makes differences of the design more pronounced. The style range of Fact is wider than of any cognate type family, including weights from Thin to Black and widths from Compressed to Expanded. Fact type system contains 48 upright styles with variations in width and weight and 8 italics of normal width. The font was designed by Alexandra Korolkova and Manvel Shmavonyan and released by Paratype in 2018.
