Fright Night is a geometric typeface in a hand made style with inspiration from old horror movie posters. Regular and oblique styles as well as a roughened version of both styles for that vintage feel. Fright Night is a layered typeface that also has an outline and inline style that can be combined together with the regular or oblique style for that authentic horror poster touch. Perfect for display use for print and posters, halloween projects or anything monster related really.
Kometa Sans is a contemporary grotesk with a certain personality. She has a steady geometric skeleton, but its appearance is rather humanistic. The precise details of the artwork, the carefully drawn true italics, the six types of numerals, the variety of alternates, the broad range of open-type features and the extensive glyph set can meet most of the contemporary typographer’s demands for a neutral, but not boring type family for both long text and display use. Among the distinctive qualities of Kometa are also the forms of ligatures (both default and discretionary). They follow the natural constructive transitions between oval parts and stems, which is an advantage to mark, at least for designers who respect the beauty of clean forms.
Note the specially designed Kometa Unicase sub-family, substantially enough to exist as a separate typeface. Its elegant and expressive letterforms are boosting further the power to create outstanding design work. Kometa Unicase has original and playful, yet reasonable approach to letterforms variety.
Kometa has a very broad usability range – from logotypes and poster designs to corporate identities and complex editorial projects. The contemporary Cyrillics of Kometa allows easily completion of graphically consistent multilingual corporate and artistic design projects.
Designed by Kiril Zlatkov and Vassil Kateliev.
Ekster is a geometric sans serif typeface from the Parisian designer Ilya Naumoff. Many of its letters are simplified; you’ll find several places in the typeface where the connection of bowls to stems isn’t fussy, for example, and horizontal strokes – like those in the ‘f’ and the ’t’ along the x-height – don’t bisect their letters’ main vertical stems (but populate the left-hand side only instead). Ekster’s lowercase ‘u’ is also symmetrical. The family includes a staggering number of weights – eight in total, and these range from Thin through Black. Each weight has both an upright font and an oblique-style italic on offer. The letterforms in all of the Ekster weights are drawn with virtually monolinear strokes. Ekster’s x-height is moderate, and the lowercase’s ascenders rise up to the same height as the capital letters and the numerals. However, the best feature of Ekster’s fonts is the large number of alternates that they contain. Ekster includes alternate forms for almost every lowercase letter, and some even have more than one alternate available – like the ‘a’, ‘e’, and ‘r’. Ekster is an excellent choice for use in both corporate design and editorial design projects, both because of its range of font weights and styles as well as because of its legibility in text.

Geometric/Technical style logotypes have been developed for car chrome labels since the early 1980’s. Many of these sleek logotypes are lacking an expansive family to enhance and express their brand in a richer sense, becoming true brand workhorses. The Aspire SmallCaps family finds its origin of inspiration in the ACURA automotive company logo, and from there expands to an 6 font family of weights & oblique styles, striving to become a workhorse.

It maintains all capital forms (whether standard or smallcaps) and yet is still strikingly powerful in its presence and readability including numerals, and a comprehensive range of weights, creating a straightforward, uncompromising collection of typefaces that lend a solid foundation and a broad range of expression for designers.
Here’s what’s included with the Aspire SmallCaps Family bundle:
- 438 glyphs per style - including Capitals, Small Caps, Numerals, Punctuation and an extensive character set that covers multilingual support of latin based languages. (see the 6th graphic for a preview of the characters included)

Auster, A Sans with Flair!
Auster packs sensational personality in its fine-tuned forms. Confident and quirky, yet comfortable to read, this distinctive san serif family stands out from the crowd. The curves cinch and strokes flair in unconventional places making Auster an unashamed rebel sure to turn heads.
Originally designed during the TipoBrda Workshop in Slovenia. Resistenza spent 3 years developing this 2 style (roman & Italic), 20 weight family. The subtle reverse contrast characters were first painted with a flat brush, then polished in pencil on tracing paper before being carefully digitized, to include language support and all the opentype features you expect in a quality contemporary font.
