Drawn from a mix of inspiration -OC Bartók is based on the readable skeleton of a gothic sans, has the high stroke contrast of a didone, while the sharp serifs and details like the notched R subtly tip their hat to the metal engraving style. The result is equal parts nefarious and majestic but never antique, suited perfectly for contemporary digital and analog applications.

The large x-height and open apertures make it incredibly versatile, equally suited for logos and headlines in bold weights, and extensive copy in light.

Montante is a beautifully classic script. It has cleanly looping ascenders and descenders as well as elegant uppercase forms. Classic, yet free spirited, it is a typestyle for a wide variety of use it is very soft and has fast curves, while its low slant angle makes it very legible.

Smart, legible and elegant, Gravesend Sans is a based on the unique typeface used for the iconic grass-green signage for the now-defunct Southern Railway. In existence from 1923 to 1948, when it was nationalised, it linked London with the Channel ports, South West England, the South coast resorts and Kent. The same design was also used for the ‘hawkeye’ signs on the London, Midland and Scottish Railway, differentiated by black letters on a yellow background.

Reference for each letter was taken from vintage ‘target’ station nameplates and other platform signage. The rarest letters were the Q, seen in Queens Road Battersea, the X, seen in East Brisxon, and the Z, used in Maze Hill, site of an infamous train crash in 1958. Being hand-made, the letters often differ in width and thickness. There was no lower case. The Bluebell Railway, a heritage steam line, runs over part of the old Southern Railway network and uses a very similar type.

The design of the numbers differed considerably, but here have been taken from the Device 112 Hours font Smokebox. As well identifying platforms, they were used on the front of the steam engine’s smokebox, hence the name, and stylistically are more in keeping with the letters than some of the squarer versions that can be seen in old photographs.

William Caslon IV is credited with the first Latin sans-serif type, shown in a 1816 Caslon specimen book. ‘Two Lines English Egyptian’, as it was called, was caps-only, and there are several close correlations between the two.

Includes a selection of authentic arrows and manicules, plus abbreviated ligatures such as ‘St.’ (Saint or Street) ‘Rd.’ (Road) and ‘Jn.’ (Junction). The Cameo version includes many graphic banner elements that can be freely combined.

Tejuela (Spanish for “Wood Shingle”) is a neoclassical type inspired by the wooden architecture of the ancient churches of Chiloé, an archipelago in southern Chile; which are World Heritage Sites. This typeface has rough and broken forms but with soft strokes.
The neoclassical characteristic of Tejuela is due to the architecture of these temples, which belong to this style but adapted to wood with excellent quality and ingenuity by Chilote builders using a material available in the area. Therefore, this typeface reflects the tradition of the fonts of that period, but adapted to the coarseness and warmth of the southern wood of the new world.

Tejuela is useful for extensive texts in literature, history, art and heritage; as also for short and large phrases in headlines according to the occasion.

Tejuela has eight variants in Roman a Italic versions, with small caps, Old Style and Lining numbers, ligatures, alternative glyphs, among other OpenType features; special mention to the capital letters Swash of the italic versions, which serve to generate delicate compositions. In addition, it has two stylistic sets to compose border ornaments inspired by the Chilote Architecture: colonnades and corners, only using the numbers on the keyboard; it is important that the line spacing has the same value as the font.
Its 800 to 940 glyphs are suitable for writing 219 different languages.
